Stable Relationships II – Leadership

This innovative leadership program challenges youth to redefine what it means to lead—not through commands or control, but through connection, self-awareness, and servant leadership.

Participants will step into leadership roles that focus on guiding through influence rather than authority, learning how to listen, collaborate, and care for their team before giving direction.

Youth will engage in hands-one activities with the following themes:

• React vs Respond
• Verbal vs Non-verbal Communicaton
• Control vs Letting Go
• Excuses vs Accountability

Who:  Ages10 and UP

Dates:   Wednesdays, July 9, 16, 30 & August 6.  Group will not meet on July 23.

Time:  9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Location:  3135 West 22nd Street, Kearney, Nebraska

Program Size:  Limited to eight (8) youth.

Registration closes: Thursday, July 3 at 4:00 pm

Registration Fee:

• $50 (non-refundable)
• Must be paid in advance to hold your youth’s place in the corral.

All activities are completed in an out-door setting (corral and activity shelter).   Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.  No riding and previous horse experience needed.

Program value is $400 per individual. Thanks to our generous sponsors, the remaining costs have been covered by private donations and Snow Redfern Foundation.

Further program assistance is limited and will be determined by a case-by-case basis.  To be considered, please fill out the application (located under the registration tab) in its entirety and submit ALL supporting documents by June 24, 2025.
